CTS recognizes that there are a lot of time-consuming jobs necessary for the production of technology-based course resources. Faculty shouldn't have to spend their time learning to scan or convert documents in order to build course resources. We can't take your notes and produce course web pages for you, but we will try to help with some of the time-consuming and repetitive tasks and we will offer advice and training so that you can use the time you have as effectively as possible.
Caveats:
You must be a Rice instructor or teaching assistant working on a course-related
project in order to use these services. Because these services are new and we
aren't certain what the demand will be, we will be creating and modifying guidelines
as we grow. We will work with you to set reasonable deadlines and expectations
of what can be accomplished and will give our best effort to accomplish the
task at hand. Feedback from you as we grow can help make CTS a success.
