Have you found lots of links on the web that you would like to make available to your class, but you just haven't had the time to learn how to build web pages? CTS has developed an easy way for you to maintain a list of links for your class. Using a series of web forms, you can add, edit and delete topic headings and resource listings.
Example Course Resource page for TEST101 -
By clicking on the link above, a new window will open with an example of a Course Resource page. The look and feel of the page can be modified to fit your taste, if you wish. Resource listings are organized by topic headings. The headings are arranged alphabetically, but you can use numbers to place the topic headings in the order you prefer.Editing a Course Resource page -
A series of web forms have been created to help you easily manage the Course Resource page. For a "real" Course Resource page, the editing area would be password protected so that only you or a teaching assistant would be able to update the links available to the students. Because this is a sample, the edit forms do not require a username or password.A Course Resource page for your class can be created in just a few minutes. If you are interested in having a Course Resource page created for your class, please send email to cts@rice.edu and include: the course number, instructor name, and instructor email address - or call CTS at 713.348.5725.
